Individuals and teams have been recognised for their outstanding contributions at this year’s Staff Recognition Awards. The event saw a record-breaking response with 149 nominations from staff and 70 nominations from patients.
Nominees competed in eight categories centred around gtd healthcare’s values and learning and development.
The awards ceremony took place on 3 December at head office, where David Beckett, gtd healthcare's chief executive, announced the winners and runners-up.
David said it is always heartwarming to read the nominations and learn about the remarkable work taking place across the organisation.
“This event is a great opportunity to come together and reflect on achievements and acknowledge those who have gone above and beyond,” he said.
The executive team reviewed the nominations and submitted their shortlist, which was passed to the Our People’s Trust Board to decide on the winners and runners-up.
Susan Mayall, Our People’s Trust Board member, said the standard of the nominations was incredible and all nominees were deserved winners.
“The nominations demonstrated not only the organisation’s geographical reach but also the diverse range of services gtd healthcare provides,” she said.
“The comments from staff and patients alike made me proud to be part of an organisation that delivers the level of care and quality described.”
