A new independent support package for gtd healthcare employees has begun, providing access to an extensive portfolio of wellbeing resources.
The Employee Assistance Programme is accessible to all employed staff, their partner/spouse and dependent children over 16 still living at home, enabling them to seek support including confidential counselling and wellbeing services, 24/7, 365-days-per-year, via a variety of different platforms.
David Beckett, gtd healthcare’s chief executive, said this is an extremely positive development for the organisation and demonstrates our commitment to investing in our people, who are its greatest assets.
“The past 17 months have been hugely challenging for many of us – both personally and professionally and has no doubt taken its toll,” he said.
“People’s health and wellbeing have been affected and while there has been a big internal push to organise our own wellbeing initiatives, investing in a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme that is delivered by an independent provider has been a key priority – and I am pleased that this has now come to fruition.
“Our people have already fed-back that this is a fantastic offer and one that is hugely appreciated particularly due to the extensive range of support available. I really hope many will achieve maximum benefits from the programme by taking the time to explore all the resources and support mechanisms that are freely available at any time of the day.”
gtd healthcare’s Employee Assistance Programme offers a number of services including counselling and wellbeing packages for stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, loss and grief, career planning, financial worries, fitness, nutrition, weight loss, mindfulness, exercise, and much more!
David Beckett added: “Looking after our people is a key priority and so embarking on this new venture really highlights the organisation’s commitment and significant step forwards to achieving the best for our employees.”
