gtd healthcare has hosted virtual recruitment events, which aimed to expand the organisation’s clinical workforce.
The events, which are a first for the organisation, saw more than 50 people register and have resulted in three permanent senior clinical practitioners being appointed, with more interviews to follow.
Richard Shaw, gtd healthcare's recruitment business partner, said the online events proved to be a fantastic way of screening more candidates in a shorter space of time.
“The sessions were designed to provide interested candidates with an immersive experience, allowing them to interact with staff, meet the senior clinical team, explore career opportunities and discover more about working for gtd healthcare,” he said.
“Our joint heads of nursing and allied health professionals gave an overview of gtd healthcare, spoke about the services we offer, and outlined the benefits of working for the organisation.
“Candidates were then divided into breakout rooms, which were split into out-of-hours, urgent care, and primary care, to provide comprehensive introductions and open discussions tailored to each area.”
Following the event, candidates provided positive feedback, stating they found the virtual setting to be an easy method to engage and explore gtd healthcare and its services, as well as meet with key people inside the organisation.
The recruitment team was pleased with the outcome and is looking at how to further improve the experience for staff and prospective candidates.
