Patients can contact the service by calling 0333 332 3800 or NHS 111. You will be connected to a trained call handler who will ask for a few personal details and undertake an initial assessment. You may then, if deemed appropriate, speak to one of our dental nurses who will complete a further assessment over the phone and provide appropriate advice and a possible dental appointment.
Please note, if you are given an appointment with a dentist, fees are payable for treatment under the NHS unless you receive certain benefits. There will be a minimum charge of £26.80 for the attention you receive during your appointment. If you are exempt from payment, please bring proof with you to the practice as our dentist will ask for evidence that you are entitled to free NHS dental treatment. Please ask the reception staff for further information.
Outside of the service’s operating hours, you will reach a voicemail system, which will redirect you to NHS 111.
